The shooting of Thuppaki has been put on hold due to the FEFSI and Producers’ Council not in good terms over the pay hike. With some portions shot already in Mumbai, the Thuppaki team had to return back to the city due to the strike. Following this, the director has time on hands which he has decided to put to good use. He is planning to direct a short film and is looking for two high school children to play the lead pair. The director was inspired by the talk of two school children apparently in love when he was out on a morning
